Hunt is a wunderkind who got his start in advertising at the age of 18 at Creative Lynx, a Manchester-based digital marketing firm. Hunt rose through the ranks at Creative Lynx, quickly becoming digital director, and then executing a management buyout at the age of 25 for a 50-person agency that quickly grew to 100.
He was the CEO at 30 years old, competing against global industry leaders twice his age, developing the agency to 400 people, and creating legendary worldwide campaigns and industry firsts.
It’s no surprise that Hunt built Creative Lynx into one of the most successful creative healthcare firms in the world, given his upward trajectory. Havas bought it in 2012 after a lot of people noticed it.
Hunt was a key figure in Havas Lynx’s development from a tiny creative agency to a worldwide healthcare communications firm with 400 people, double-digit growth year after year, and big pharma customers such as AstraZeneca, Janssen, and Novartis.
There were several honors during Hunt’s tenure, including the Cannes Lions Healthcare Agency of the Year award, the PME EU Healthcare Agency of the Year award, and the Creative Floor Most Awarded Agency award.
