Hinduja group’s Ashok Leyland comes out with fuel efficient trucks

Nov 28, 2012: Ashok Leyland has off late come out with lot of innovations as part of measures to increase fuel efficiency in their trucks. Innovations which include a ‘Twin-Speed’ button, which allows a driver to change the mode of driving to a fuel efficient mode, will help them in gaining economic benefits. The new trucks will also improve the driving comfort with reduced engine noise and better turning radius. The new ‘Twin-Speed’ technology will be first brought out in their multi axle 25 tonne and 31 tonne trucks. Later it will be introduced in Ashok Leyland 4×2 haulages and as well as buses.
