Sept 25, 2012: White goods makers Panasonic, Samsung, Whirlpool, Godrej and Videocon are offering gifts and discounts to its consumers this festive season. The electronic goods makers are bringing back the promotional offer schemes after four long years to boost sales.
According to the industry reports, sales of electronics goods have fallen down drastically this year when compared to previous year sales. While sales of flat and LCD TV grew by 10%, sales for refrigerator, washing machines and air-conditioners remained flat. The white goods makers hope to boost the sales by 15-20% this festive season.
