HomeLane Appoints Shilpa Gupta as the Senior Vice President-Supply Chain Management

Newly appointed supply chain officer plans to focus on enhancing the supply chain capabilities of the company and driving operational effectiveness

Mumbai, May 30, 2022: HomeLane, India’s choice for on-time home interiors, today announced the appointment of Shilpa Gupta as its new Senior Vice President- Supply Chain Management to strengthen the supply chain capabilities of the company. Shilpa will report to HomeLane’s Co-Founder & CEO, Srikanth Iyer, effective immediately.

In her new role, Shilpa will oversee all integrated supply chain activities across the company’s enterprise, including sourcing, planning, manufacturing, inventory, warehousing and logistics. She will continue to build on HomeLane’s long-term vision and strategy to make interiors hassle-free and pocket friendly for the customers by making the back-end supply chain agile, efficient and resilient.

Shilpa joins HomeLane from Flipkart, where she was heading last mile operations for large business. She comes with more than 13 years of experience in planning and operations and has worked with other established organisations such as Pepsico and Diageo.

Shilpa has been instrumental in scaling up flex delivery models, expanding pincode reach, and improving network speed, during her stint at Flipkart. She has also successfully implemented and scaled up the sales and operations process in organizations like Pepsico and Diageo. Shilpa earned her Masters’ in Engineering Management from Duke University, USA, and received a Bachelor’s in Technology from Mumbai University.
