National, April 21, 2023 – TTK Prestige Ltd., filed a suit for injunction against Impex Dripless Pressure Cooker Design of KCM Appliances Pvt. Ltd. before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi as a precautionary measure to protect its highly successful Svachh Pressure Cooker design.
The Hon’ble High Court of Delhi vide its order dated 13.4.2023 has restrained KCM Appliances Pvt. Ltd. from manufacturing or selling its ‘Impex Dripless’ range of pressure cookers or any other pressure cooker which infringes, or results in piracy of, the suit design of TTK Prestige Ltd.
The Hon’ble Court had further directed that, all references to any such similar design, including the design of the Impex Dripless Pressure cooker, shall immediately be removed from all physical and virtual sites. Furthermore, KCM Appliances Pvt Ltd has been instructed to contact all e-commerce platforms selling pressure cookers with the impugned design and inform them to immediately stop selling the products.

It is to be noted that TTK Prestige Ltd is the Pioneer of Svachh Pressure Cooker design and a registered proprietor of the same under the Designs Law. It is entitled to initiate action against any copying of the said Design.
