Nov 27, 2012: Honda launched its sedan ‘Amaze’ which is built on the Brio platform in Thailand on Friday. With this launch, Amaze has become the first diesel option for car buyers from the Honda stable. Honda will be launching ‘Amaze’ in India after six months. In Thailand it has been priced at 454,000 Baht (Rs. 8.2 lakhs). Brio Amaze sedan which is powered by i-VTEC 1.2 lt petrol engine and 1.5 lt four cylinder diesel engine will be a sub four meter sedan and is expected to be priced at Rs. 5 lakh for petrol version upto Rs. 7.5 lakh for diesel version in India. Brio Amaze will be available in a manual as well as in automatic version and promises higher fuel efficiency.
