Huawei new flagship- Mate X2

The Brand Huawei Mate X is getting a successor in the form of Huawei Mate X2. Huawei had also released the version of the Mate X dubbed as Huawei Mate Xs last year.  The device will launch Globally this month on February 22. Previously the device was listed on the Chinese certification website TENNA with a code-name Huawei TET-AN00 / AN10. But the Mate X2 is expected to launch with a folding design on its upcoming foldable. A few media reports, the folding mechanism to be similar to the Galaxy Fold 2.  The Mate X2 display that comes when it is unfolding will turn into an 8-inch tablet, and when it shuts will turn into a 6.45-inch device. The screen display resolution comes of 2200×2480 pixels and 1160×2700 pixels.

The Huawei Mate X2 will launch with the in-house Kirin 9000 SoC, and the kirin 9000 is an octa-core chipset of 3.13Ghz meaning. The device is faster than Qualcomm’s SoC Snapdragon 888 that of 2.84GHz. The device comes with a 5nm manufacturing process coupled with a 24 core Mali G-78 GPU. The Huawei Mate X2  has expected to ship with 8GB RAM and 512GB of non-expandable storage.

The camera features are, the primary camera comes with a 50-megapixel, the secondary camera comes with a 16-megapixel with 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors. 16-megapixel snapper selfy cameras come with the device. The processor of  Huawei Mate X2 will be running Android 11 with EMUI 11 on top. The device is backed with a 4400mAh battery with the support of 66W wired charging and wireless charging. The device will be supporting the latest Wi-Fi 6E/6/5 compliance. Besides this, the device is expected to come with 5.1 Bluetooth, NFC, and dual-SIM slots with  5G compatibility. The smartphone will launch on February 22 though it is not clear that whether it is a global launch or a China-specific launch.
