THANOS Technologies, a pioneer in agricultural drone technology is thrilled to announce its collaboration with the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Coop Ltd. (IFFCO). The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signed between Thanos Technologies and IFFCO on 22nd May, 2024, signals the commencement of a transformative initiative aimed at revolutionizing agricultural practices across the country.
Through this strategic collaboration, Thanos Technologies will facilitate the aerial spraying of fertilizers over an extensive 10 lakh acres of farmland, encompassing regions in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. This extensive reach underscores Thanos Technologies’ commitment to making advanced agricultural practices accessible to farmers nationwide. Over 500 state-of-the-art drones will be deployed to ensure the efficient and timely application of fertilizers. This large-scale deployment will optimize the fertilization process, leading to improved crop yields and reduced resource wastage. By joining forces with prominent drone service providers, including Vayu Drone, Aerotics Technologies, and Electra Agri Green, the company is poised to deliver unparalleled value and innovation to the agricultural sector. The economic impact of this project is anticipated to be significant, with a business value of INR 50 crores for Thanos Technologies and the service partners.
Additionally, Thanos Technologies will offer additional incentives, supplementing the standard spraying service charges collected for every acre sprayed using IFFCO chemicals. This initiative aims to encourage and reward the participation of service providers in this groundbreaking project. Recognizing the need for investment in advanced technology, Thanos Technologies is also developing new financial options to assist corporate service partners interested in owning and operating more than 10 drones. These options will provide the necessary support to scale operations and meet the growing demand.
Mr. Pradeep Palellil, Founder & CEO, Thanos Technologies, said, “We are excited to partner with IFFCO and this marks a significant step towards our mission to modernize farming practices, increase crop yields, and promote sustainable agriculture. At Thanos technologies, we aim to create a more efficient, productive, and sustainable agricultural ecosystem for the benefit of farmers and the nation as a whole. Through this partnership, we hope to combine resources, knowledge, and ambition to completely reshape the agricultural landscape of India.”
Furthermore, recognizing the need for investment in advanced technology, Thanos Technologies is developing new financial options to assist corporate service partners interested in owning and operating more than 10 drones.
