Hyundai has come up with a new digital experience by collaborating with Spotify, designed to inspire drivers and music fans. The digital experience of “My City Unlocked” connects with three artists of their hometown, a virtual tour of those towns is also possible through the audio and visual storytelling. Hyundai has unveiled new specs to highlight the mobile and digital experience of its 2021 Elantra sedan.
Hyundai hands with an agency of record Innocean USA to develop “My City Unlocked”. The new digital experience feature of Hyundai “My City Unlocked” brings the singers like Lauren Jauregui of Miami, musician Gryffin in Los Angeles, and singer Amber Mark in New York. In addition to the content, they can also share a story of their performance in hometowns with entertainment reporter Terrance J in a branded podcast titled “Unlock My City With…”.
Hyundai is trying to catch up with the minds of younger customers by highlighting how the Elantra is associated with freedom, exploration, and fresh experience. The release of these experiences is made on behalf of the launch of the 2021 Hyundai Elantra.
Spotify is a Swedish music streaming service that is very much popular in Europe and America and parts of Africa and Asia. By exploring Spotify, Hyundai is targeting the audience who are currently in the market for a new segment. Spotify has almost 320 Million monthly active users. Hyundai has taken the right step for their advertisement. The advertisement support platform of Spotify has grown from 31% to 185 Million monthly.

Spotify has recently made a huge investment in their advertisement technology to expand its platform, recently Spotify comes up with an agreement to acquire podcast advertising and publishing company Megaphone. By expanding, Spotify targets major brands that seek to reach its growing customers.
Hyundai has unveiled two TV promotions for national broadcast. Hyundai’s broader campaign for Elantra was named as “Unlock My City”.
