“I Like Trump’s Authenticity, He Explains Things Simply,” Says Social Media Star Orry

Mumbai, 22 February 2025: “Orry does it all! I attended 78 weddings till last night,” said social media sensation Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, setting the tone for an unfiltered candid conversation about wealth, fame and luxury at ABP Network’s Ideas of India 2025.

Discussing the realities of being rich, he admitted that luxury loses its charm over time. “It’s all fun and fancy, but after a while, how many watches, how many tours? The satisfaction fades, and boredom creeps in,” he shared. He also highlighted that “any pleasurable activity done without effort eventually becomes dull.”

On social interactions, Orry revealed that deep discussions rarely take place at high-profile gatherings. “We never discuss AI, that’s for sure. We just have fun, no serious talk. I love clicking pictures and making reels,” he stated. However, he expressed his dislike for forced interactions, adding, “I hate people who try too hard to impress each other – it’s exhausting. But I enjoy using my talent and beauty to impress and I think I’ve won the game.”

When asked about the perks of fame, Orry was upfront. “Yes, I love being famous. It makes life easier—easy access to rooms, opportunities. I love it,” he said. Addressing the challenges that come with it, he acknowledged, “I chose this life. I opted for fame voluntarily. Lack of privacy scares some people, but I love it. I love TRP.”

He also spoke about the backlash he received for supporting Donald Trump. “I got a lot of criticism, but I like Trump’s authenticity. He explains things in the simplest way,” he noted.

Reflecting on what made him stand out, he concluded, “I was just an ordinary person, and people liked that—my authenticity. That’s what fascinated them.”
