Its main services include helping customers in domestic and international flight bookings, hotel and holiday bookings and bus bookings. Ibibo Group is a joint venture between South African media conglomerates Naspers and Chinese internet-focused strategic investor Tencent. The key portfolio organizations of Ibibo group include Goibibo which assist them in their online travel operations , Tradus.com its online marketplace, PayU.in for online payments, Gaadi.com the auto classifieds) a Redbus for Online Bus ticketing. In 2013, IbiboGroup was awarded as one of the top five most trusted ecommerce brands in India in ‘The Brand Trust Report India Study’.
DJUBO is a cloud based 360 Hotels Sales Platform and manages functions such as booking confirmations, room hold requests, room queries, online channel partners, booking engine, payment follow up and much more through a single interface. The investment of this acquisition by Ibibo Group’s is done through the Singaporean entity MIH India E-commerce Pvt Ltd which is a holding company which operates through its subsidiaries as a pay-television and Internet subscriber platform that provides entertainment and e-commerce services to its digital subscribers.
