The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) celebrated the 10th International Day of Yoga today, organizing yoga sessions across its 176 branches and 5 Regional Councils to create awareness and health benefits of Yoga.
As a trusted partner in nation-building, ICAI has been celebrating International Day of Yoga (IDY) since 2015. Taking forward this tradition, Yoga Programmes were organised pan India. In New Delhi a Yoga Session was conducted by Yog Gurus from Bharitya Yog Sansthan wherein CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President of ICAI; CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, Vice-President of ICAI, CA. (Dr.) Debashis Mitra, Past President, ICAI along with Central and Regional Council Members of ICAI performed Yoga.
On this occasion, CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, President of ICAI, stated, “Yoga embodies the values of discipline, focus, and balance, which are integral to the Chartered Accountancy profession. Our members’ well-being is paramount, and through yoga, we aim to enhance their overall quality of life. By incorporating yoga into our daily routines, we can achieve greater professional and personal harmony.”
