IESA Welcomes Mr. Ashok Chandak as Its New President

Bengaluru, November 22nd, 2023: India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), the premier trade body representing the Indian electronic system design and manufacturing (ESDM) industry, announces the appointment of Mr. Ashok Chandak as its new President.

Mr. Ashok Chandak is a renowned figure in the semiconductor industry with over three decades of experience in semiconductors and electronics across various global companies. With his background of Postgraduate in Electronics and Management education from Babson college , Boston He has been instrumental in driving several initiatives to promote the growth and innovation of the ESDM sector in India and abroad.

Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Chairman, IESA, said, “We are delighted to have Mr. Chandak as our new President. He brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and vision to the role. He has been a strong advocate of the ESDM industry and has played a key role in shaping the policies and programs that have enabled its development. As the President of IESA, Mr. Ashok Chandak will play a pivotal role in steering the organization towards innovation and growth. He will be responsible for formulating strategic initiatives and advocating for policies that promote the interests of the semiconductor and ESDM industry for Make In India.
