IFB Home Appliances partners with Xeros Tech to launch new washing machines for retail organizations. The company changed its name from Indian Fine Blank Limited to IFB Industries Limited in July 1989
IFB industry is a part of IFB home appliances. Its manufacturing location is in Kolkata and Verna in India. The company has a network of 530 retail outlets called ‘IFB Point’.
Homegrown IFB Home Appliances announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with UK-based Xeros Technologies to bring a new range of energy-water-efficient washing machines aimed at commercial and institutional buyers.
As part of this, the Kolkata-based company will introduce washing machines with serous systems that can save up to 70 percent energy, 50 percent water, and 50 percent detergent consumption.
The total sales of this segment of new products are 200 per year. IFB and Xeros expect a 50 percent growth in the 30kg and 60kg washer-extractor category with this innovative product range.
The excellent response is expected from industrial applications such as four and five-star property hotels, railway laundry, premium category hospital chains, premium laundries, automotive industry using special types of uniforms, and fire brigade / NDRF.

In 1989, Bosch-Siemens House guard GmbH collaborated with Germany on the manufacture of fully automatic washing machines and home appliances.
The company changed its name from Indian Fine Blank Limited to IFB Industries Limited in July 1989.
IFB Industries had a revenue of Rs 2,716.52 crore in 2020-21.
