India Accelerator Joins Forces with TPCGSI at Drone Shaurya 2024 to Deepen Focus on Robotics, Unmanned, and Space Startups

  • September 2024: India Accelerator (IA), a leading multi-stage fund led accelerator in India has entered into a strategic alliance with Trade Promotion Council for Geospatial and Space Industry (TPCGSI) to participate in its ongoing flagship event ‘Drone Shaurya’, on 19th and 20th Sept. 2024 at Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune.

    As part of the partnership, TPCGSI and India Accelerator intend to work together for opportunities in the Robotics, Unmanned Systems and Space Technology and its applications. The entities will open avenues for entrepreneurship and business development opportunities including funding, market and Policy research and advocacy, Training and Capacity building and innovation, augmenting each other’s organizational capabilities. With this association, India Accelerator also aims to strengthen its presence in the city to boost the startup ecosystem in Pune.

    Additionally, it aims to strengthen IA’s Robotics, Unmanned and Space Startups (RUMS) arm to provide strategic support and drive growth for potential startups in the industry. As part of its participation, IA has taken one of its portfolio companies – Indrajaal, an autonomous wide-area anti-drone/counter-unmanned aircraft solutions startup which is also the Anti-drone cover to the Drone Shaurya event.

    In addition, IA has been awarded with the ‘UAV Industry Facilitator’ award that recognizes and honour individuals, organizations, or institutions that have significantly contributed to the advancement and growth of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) industry.
