Planet Spark, a global EdTech focusing on training youngsters to become confident communicators, has announced its first-ever season of “Spark Tank” ahead of the premiere of Shark Tank’s debut season in India.

In this intriguing spin-off, children under the age of 17 will pitch their million-dollar company ideas to a jury in the hopes of securing funding from these sharks.

The Spark Tank jury will include notable business figures such as Vikas Kuthiala, a renowned Angel Investor who has invested in firms such as Wow Momo, Bijnis, Instasafe, and Box8, among others.

During this four-week mega event, children aged 7 to 17 from India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Europe will pitch their business ideas to become one of the world’s youngest entrepreneurs.

Students will be evaluated not only on the merits of their business idea but also on their ability to effectively convey and sell it to the jury members.

“Introducing Spark Tank is very well-integrated with our focus on creating children competent communicators and teaching them practical skills, of which Communication and Public Speaking is a significant component,” Maneesh Dhooper, co-founder, said of this first-of-its-kind venture.

The goal is to help people realize their entrepreneurial dreams by giving them a head start. With so many teen business idols rising from around the world in recent years, we aim to take a comprehensive strategy that isn’t just limited to training sessions but also includes a practical application.

Furthermore, this is an excellent opportunity to support and nurture those children who have the potential to become tomorrow’s leaders.

Multiple children have the opportunity to raise funds from investors through this competition to instill confidence and instill an entrepreneurial attitude in the participants. In addition, Planet Spark will award a grant to the winning idea(s).

To prepare the competitors, a specialized team, including mentors and specialists onboard Planet Spark, will provide proper training and grooming sessions to all registered Spark Tank contestants. This will involve thorough hand-holding and advice on all parts of the investor pitch, including Ideation, Presentation, and Communication.

One of the panel members, Angel Investor Vikas Kuthiala, expressed his enthusiasm for Spark Tank by saying, “Talent needs to be encouraged from an early age.” Why should we not strive to encourage great entrepreneurs to start early in an era when a 17-year-old can win at the Olympics, Grand Prix Tennis events, and Chess?

We intend to build an exciting worldwide platform with Planet Spark’s Spark Tank that will allow young achievers to present their business ideas to the globe.

All competitors must create a video presentation of up to 3 minutes detailing their basic business idea and submit it by December 23rd to register their submission.

Luminaries that excel at researching enterprises and start-ups are scheduled to attend PlanetSpark’s Spark Tank.
