14th July, Bengaluru 2023: Linen Club Nature inFocus Festival & Awards 2023 Presented by Sublime Wilderness Odyssey is delighted to announce its collaboration with the renowned folk fusion rock band, Indian Ocean. The band will perform at the Festival on 29th July at Jayamahal Palace, Bengaluru. The Festival is a celebration of nature, wildlife, and conservation, and promises a diverse range of engaging activities and experiences for wildlife and nature enthusiasts.
The Festival aims to inspire a deeper connection with the natural world through film screenings, talks, panel discussions, photography exhibitions, entertainment, art installations, book release, workshops and masterclasses, sustainable flea market and Awards ceremony.
This year, in collaboration with the Indian Ocean Band, the Festival promises to be an unparalleled experience, blending the power of visuals and the magic of music. Indian Ocean, known for their soul-stirring compositions and socially conscious lyrics, will perform live at the event with their latest album ‘Tu Hai’. The collection of songs from the new album shares a broader concern about environmental degradation, which is reflected in the album art by illustrator Priya Brahmbhatt.
Rohit Varma, Founder, Nature inFocus, expresses his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to partner with the Indian Ocean for the Festival. Their music resonates with our ethos, and we believe that the fusion of visual storytelling through photography and their soulful melodies will create a truly unique and transformative experience for our attendees at the Festival.”
Amit Kilam, Band Member, Indian Ocean, said, “The Festival’s collaboration with Indian Ocean promises an extraordinary blend of art, music, and nature. With breathtaking photography exhibitions, insightful workshops along with our music and a promising, environmentally sensitive audience, we are looking forward to an immersive experience for everyone that will leave them inspired and moved to make positive changes for our planet.”
