“I am delighted to be joining you at this first Global Summit hosted by TV9, bringing together some of India’s brightest minds to tackle some of the world’s great challenges and opportunities,” David Cameron said. I am incredibly proud of the strong relationship I helped build between the United Kingdom and India during my tenure as Prime Minister. I led my first trade mission to India in 2010 to help develop a genuinely modern partnership open to the possibilities of the world’s oldest and largest democracies. It’s a pleasure to return after more than a decade to examine a different world with you today.
“With this Summit, we hope to catalyse interesting conversations, discussions, and deliberations that will show a blueprint of India’s journey to becoming the new world leader,” said TV9 Network CEO Barun Das. The journey is not without difficulties. But the goal is as sacred as it is ambitious and driven by strong leadership, collective will, and national commitment. The ultimate goal of this event is to generate ideas and thoughts through open discussions to achieve the common goal of India becoming the “Vishwa Guru.”
