Sept 11 2012: Indian IT major, Infosys announced the acquisition of Zurich based leading management consultancy firm , Lodestone Holdings AG for Rs 1,925 crore. According to the company sources, the acquisition will help them to strengthen their consulting capabilities further.
As per the deal , the Zurich consultancy firm will bring in 200 clients from across various industries to existing pool of Infosys’ 700 clients. It is expected that the combined consulting practice will earn an additional revenue of $1 billion for Infosys.
