To commemorate the beginning of the largest advertising festival in Cannes, Wunderman Thompson has unveiled the WT Inspiration Beach, an immersive metaverse campaign. It gives people the chance to learn about the agency’s distinctive approach to innovation, content, and connectivity.
The premier metaverse platform, Odyssey, and Wunderman Thompson collaborated to design and build the WT Inspiration Beach, which offers collaborative areas, a lounge area for networking, and a creative gallery showcasing some of Wunderman Thompson’s most inspiring works. To keep people interested in new ways, additional attractions like an interactive shopping area and a DJ booth will also be up later this week.
To provide Wunderman Thompson’s perspective on important industry themes including sustainability, IE&D, data and technology, brand creativity and effectiveness, talent, and business transformation, “Inspiration Kiosks” have been positioned all along the beach.

One of the first companies to introduce their own metaverse at CES 2022 was Wunderman Thompson. The global network released two original reports about the development of this new area of customer experience: “Into the Metaverse,” which was released in September 2021, and the follow-up report, “New Realities: Into the Metaverse and Beyond,” which was released in May 2022. These reports found that awareness of the metaverse has increased by more than a factor of two in less than a year.
