Internshala Trainings’ Celebrated World Youth Skills Day 2022

Organised practical workshops for Indian youth on placement preparation, resume building, navigating HR rounds, and intraday trading with accomplished industry professionals

New Delhi, 20th July’2022: Internshala Trainings celebrated World Youth Skills Day 2022 by organising various practical learning sessions for the Indian youth. The event aimed at encouraging the youth of India towards skilling up and becoming employable. The event started with an interesting session on placement preparation and resume building with Tripta Singh, an educator, and entrepreneur based in Singapore. She talked about various aspects of resume building right from purpose, format, various details to be added in a resume, and do’s & don’ts of adding details, to how to make your resume strong and stand out in front of employers. The session ended with a Q&A round with the participating students.

The resume-building session was followed by a deep discussion with accomplished HR professionals Anjali Rathore, Senior HR at Meesho and Avishek Chatterjee, Senior Manager- Talent Acquisition at Leap Finance. The session discussed about what recruiters are looking for in their potential candidates and also shared tips on how to tackle various hiring rounds.

Post the HR panel discussion, an exciting Riddle competition was organised for the participating learners which was followed by an interesting workshop on intraday trading by Dr. Abhijeet Birari, a passionate trader and trainer in the stock market for over a decade. He has a Ph.D. in the Derivatives Market and an MBA in Finance.

The event concluded with an inspiring session with 17 years old entrepreneur, Aniket Kakde, who started his journey with e-learning when he was still pursuing his class 5th. He talked about how he learned in-demand skills like web development, app development, and motion graphics through online learning. Starting his e-learning journey early, Aniket was able to land an internship when he was in 8th standard and built a robot. He is currently running his own venture, Anfosys, which aims at spreading awareness about innovation and technology amongst students, farmers, and rural communities.
