New Delhi, 25th oct 2023: Career-tech platform, Internshala’s Placement Guarantee Course alumna, Nishtha Gupta was nominated by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for a felicitation at the second Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh (Annual Skill Convocation Ceremony) organised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), India, on 12th October 2023 at AICTE. She was awarded a convocation certificate by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Education, and Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Electronics and Information Technology.
The event was also graced by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi where he virtually addressed the students and spoke about the importance of skilling, upskilling, and reskilling observing the rapidly changing demands and nature of jobs and emphasised upgrading the skills accordingly.
Hailing from Jaipur, Nishtha completed her Bachelor’s in Hotel Management from College of Hospitality Administration Jaipur, Jagannath University in 2020. She faced challenging times when she lost her parents during Covid-19 pandemic. She worked for 4 months in the hospitality industry and being a migraine patient, realised that it took a toll on her mental health. Hence, she decided to pivot her career to human resources. She pursued the NSDC-approved placement guarantee course on human resource management from Internshala. After successful completion of the course, she was able to grab an HR trainee opportunity.
