Bangalore, 15th November, 2022 – Jana Small Finance Bank, one of the leading small finance banks in India, announced a hike of interest rates across savings accounts and fixed deposits from 15th November, 2022 onwards. With this new offer, the bank is providing one of the highest interest rates across the small finance banks sector.

Customers will now get an interest rate of as high as 8.35% on deposits more than                          Rs 15 lakhs to Rs 2 crores for a tenure of 1-2 years. Senior Citizens can reap the benefit of 8.50% on a FD for a tenure of 2-3 years. 

The Bank will now offer an interest rate of 7% on savings Bank deposits for balance bucket of more than Rs 1 lakhs, right up to Rs. 50 crores. The Bank offers 4.5% pa on Savings Bank balances up to Rs. 1 Lacs, which is among the highest in the Banking industry

In the rising inflation scenario, the hike in fixed deposit rates gives the customers an opportunity, particularly to senior citizens, to get inflation-beating returns from their fixed deposits.
