Jio-bp, the fuel retail joint venture of Reliance Industries and bp, honored International Women’s Day with a grand celebration at Reliance Corporate Park on 13 March. The event featured the awe inspiring presence of Arunima Sinha, the first female amputee to scale Mount Everest, who shared her remarkable journey and insights with the female workforce of the organization. Additionally, in conjunction with the celebration, Jio-bp announced the launch of “Her Vibe, Her Tribe,” a women’s support group aimed at nurturing the growth and development of women employees. Led by women leaders within the organization, the group will provide networking opportunities, mentorship, and support for personal and professional advancement.
Arunima Sinha’s address centered around overcoming vulnerabilities and societal taboos, resonating deeply with the audience. Her presence ignited a spirit of resilience and determination among the attendees, reinforcing the message that no obstacle is insurmountable for women.
