Johnnie Walker Princes Street, which is an eight-floor new whiskey visitor attraction for the world’s best-selling Scotch whisky has been officially opened today within the heart of the capital city of Scotland.
Johnnie Walker Princes Street is about over 71,500 sq ft, uses world-first technology which will help to revisit the standard whisky tour experience. Sounds interesting right? Visitors will be taken on an incredible journey of discovery and flavors. They’ll get an opportunity to experience the unique flavors and tastes of the whiskies and find out about the captivating journey of 200-year- years which can be put in live-action by actors.
Johnnie Walker Princes Street, which took four and a half years to complete is the core of Diageo’s 185million pound investment in Scotch tourism in Scotland. It is claimed to be the largest single investment program ever seen in Scotch tourism. Reports from 2019 say that the Scotch Whisky industry attained a record 2.15 million visitors at Johnnie Walker Princes Street, and Diageo’s £185m investment in tourism program aims to re-establish Scotch whiskey tourism for the near future.
It is built over 71,500 area units. The new concept of personalization they have added is very mesmerizing and quite a rare concept which has been never seen before by any drinks visitor. There are more than 800 flavor combinations available in different dispensaries. Someone could visit Johnnie Walker Princes Street every day and have a different experience every time. Consisting of over 150 talented and varied employees who can speak 23 languages between them, will waken life the 200-year story.
Johnnie Walker Princes Street is consisting of two world-class rooftop bars and a terrace with mind-blowing views of the Edinburgh skyline. It includes the Explorers’ Bothy whisky bar which is stocked with 150 different whiskies and the 1820 cocktail bar where drinks are paired with a carefully curated menu sourced from the four corners of Scotland.
Johnnie Walker Princes Street will open its doors for the customers on 6th September, Monday at 1 pm. Tickets for tours start from £25 per person which will have a 90-minute tour and three personalized Scotch whisky drinks.
