VSAT is a two-way ground station that receives and transmits data from the satellites for primary transport, backup, and hybrid deployment.

The venture was announced in May 2019, after the agreement gained all necessary approvals, including those from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the Department of Telecom (Government of India).

The partnership met its goal of meeting the growing need for always-on, always-available network connections among business and government clients.

He further added, the alliance will bring synergies to the forefront, including multi-orbit solutions, for the benefit of customers across India.

On the collaboration, Ajay Chitkara, Director and CEO of Airtel Business, stated, “Customers will receive access to next-generation satellite connection backed by proven enterprise-grade security and service support.”

The company is well-positioned in the changing market environment to serve the arising connectivity needs of business and government consumers.

It is mentioned that they offer it for such customers, which also has an enhanced product portfolio and operational efficiencies.

HCPL delivers broadband networking technology, solutions, and services to government offices and businesses, providing a comprehensive spectrum of managed network services.

Banking, aviation and marine transportation, small and medium-sized companies, education, and telecom backhaul are just a few of the domains where these are available.

With over 480 million clients in 17 countries spanning South Asia and Africa, Bharti Airtel is a worldwide communications solutions provider.

Airtel is India’s leading supplier of comprehensive communications solutions and Africa’s second-largest mobile operator.
