Kolkata, 21st August, 2023: Justdial, India’s No. 1 hyper-local search engine, recently organised an exhilarating Bike Rally that embraced the spirit of the ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign. The event brought together enthusiastic participants who rode through various parts of the city, uniting in their support for local businesses and talents.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the renowned and celebrated astrologer, Dr. Sohini Sastri, who inaugurated the bike rally. She is skilled in understanding how the stars influence our lives and is an expert in various mystical fields like astrology, palmistry, and vastu.
The event, extending for an enthralling 3 hours, was guided by a designated leader along with the presence of a Marchel and a tail leader. The Bike Rally drew the participation of close to 100 Justdial employees, including 41 bikers, pillions, and three cars, all of whom shared a strong commitment to promoting local businesses and products.
The rally covered 20 main routes with seven stoppage points and ventured through prominent landmarks including City Centre 1, Ultadanga, Kakurgachi, Mintopark, Deshoprio Park, Jadavpur, South City, Garia, Patuli, and finally finishing at the Justdial office. This route was thoughtfully selected to showcase the city’s multifaceted charm and gain maximum visibility and engagement with the local audience.
Approximately 2000 vendors and individuals were engaged with to raise awareness about Justdial within the market. More than just a bike ride, this event stood as a testament to the influence of unity and community support.
