Kantar, the world’s leading data, insights, and consulting company, announces the appointment of Chris Jansen as Group CEO, effective from 1 November 2021.
Kantar Group is a data analytics and brand consulting company based in London, England it was founded within the year 1992 and has approximately 30,000 employees in 100 countries working in various disciplines including social media monitoring, advertising effectiveness, consumer and shopper behavior, and public opinion.
Chris Jansen has graduated in management studies in economics at Cardiff University. He has come to the Kantar company with more than 20 years of leadership experience in different sectors like the services sector from brand building to service delivery transformation and has a background in the classic FMCG marketing, and an excellent established track record of managing private equity-owned businesses. Chris Jansen is the CEO of Cognita organization which has, 6-year tenure of him and it has fastly grown into one of the largest, and most highly regarded global school groups. Before that, Chris Jansen led the Automobile Association (AA) to a stock market flotation in 2014. Chris Jansen held leadership roles, and Board positions at both British Gas and British Airways started his early career at Procter & Gamble.
In the appointment announcement of Chris Jansen, Chairman of Kantar, Adam Crozier said that. “Chris Jansen’’ has a track record of building great companies, as well as his entrepreneurial and competitive mind, which will strengthen our leadership team which we have been building for the past 18 months. Chris Jansen is a highly customer-related leader who understands the importance of a strong culture in delivering outstanding results. As we continue on our transformation journey at Kantar and build on our recent business momentum, Chris Jansen’s leadership will help fulfill the ambition that we have for Kantar.”
In his appointment, Mr.Chris Jansen said that “Kantar is rightly regarded as a world leader in data and insights-led consultancy and has outstanding goodwill with its clients. This is a result of having outstanding people, and He also noted that he’s looking forward to working very closely with the Kantar organization. We have an exciting future on our front, we have to embrace advanced analytics and the latest technology to better serve our customers.”
