In May 2021, Prashanth Neel announced that he’s uniting with Jr. NTR for the first time on NTR 31 and it will be produced by the actor himself in association with Mythri Movie Makers. Thereafter, one has not heard much about the film since Neel has been juggling between the post-production of KGF: Chapter 2 and shooting for Salaar with Prabhas. Prashanth begins work on Salaar in May and gets the film ready for a summer 2023 release. The director promises that he will discuss more regarding NTR 30 closer to the release of Salaar.
The makers of his upcoming film titled NTR 30, had also released a glimpse video from the film on May 19. The actor revealed that he will be collaborating with director Koratala Siva, who had helmed Chiranjeevi, Pooja Hegde, and Ram Charan’s Acharya recently. Anirudh Ravichander, who is on board as the music composer for the project, unveiled the teaser of NTR 30. Fans are hoping for NTR 30 to emerge as a blockbuster since Acharya incurred one of the biggest box office losses in recent times.
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr., also called Jr NTR is the grandson of the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N.T. Rama Rao. He was featured as a child actor in Ramayanam (1997), which won the National Film Award for Best Children’s Film that year, and made his debut as a lead actor with the commercial failure Ninnu Choodalani (2001). Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) is a period action film produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. It is the first of two installments in the series, which features Yash as Rocky while debutant Ramachandra Raju appeared as Garuda. Anant Nag narrates the film, and Srinidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Vasishta N. Simha, and Malavika Avinash appear in supporting roles.
