KL Deemed to be University proudly announces that Dr. B T P Madhav, Professor and Additional Dean (R&D) has achieved a global and national recognition in the field of Antennas, as per the latest rankings by SCOPUS, a renowned database for scientific research.
Dr. Madhav has secured the 13th position worldwide, and the 1st position among Indian researchers specializing in Antennas, highlighting his significant contributions to the field through high-quality publications and substantial citations. His pioneering work in Antennas and Microwaves has earned him accolades of both national and international scale, elevating his reputation as a leading figure in the academic community.

Dr. Madhav’s achievements extend beyond his impressive rankings. He has authored a total of 501 papers indexed in Scopus and SCI, accumulating over 5,659 citations and achieving an H-Index of 38, which reflects the impact and influence of his research in the academic realm. Furthermore, he has contributed significantly to the academic community by publishing 22 books and chapters, guided 16 successful PhD candidates, and securing 50 patents. He completed six sponsored and 224 consultancy projects totaling over 4 crores. Currently, he is leading a 7 crore DST-funded project.
As an Additional Dean (R&D) and Director for the Academic Research at KL Deemed to be University, numerous projects are executed under his supervision and provided solutions to innovative challenges in the field of Antennas and Microwaves. His educational excellence was recognized with the AICTE Best Teacher Award in 2022, underlining his dedication to nurturing academic excellence at KL University.
