An engaging and interactive #GloballyLocal contest uniting the world through the language of fun

India, Dec 28, 2022: Koo App a homegrown micro-blogging platform hosted a one-of-a-kind Meme fest through its #GloballyLocal campaign. Launched on 19th Nov until 27th Dec. The idea of this campaign was to invite users to create trendy memes that convey to the world how Koo is uniting people who are divided by the barrier of languages. Meme creation continues to be explosively popular for creators and content consumers, alike. The initiative saw love and support across the platform by users. 

To bolster creative engagement across the site, select topics were given to the contestants around the comfort of expressing themselves in their mother tongue and the unrestricted freedom of speech on the platform. A series of witty, funny and creative memes were submitted by all the enthusiastic participants of the meme fest. The results of the winners were announced on the Koo app on 27th December. The winners Koyal Nag, Hriday Pandey, Subhajit Raha, and Harsh Singh bagged some great cash prizes.
