Lack of awareness of Galgotias University Student Protest to Become a Matter of Laughter

The recent viral video featuring students engaged in a protest outside the
Congress headquarters in Delhi. The students of Galgotias University were clueless about the
protest and were asked to join the protest for full marks in the internals. The video circulated on
social media, capturing students who participated in the protest being questioned about the
motives behind their demonstration which resulted in a lack of clarity and awareness exhibited
by some of the students. It has come to our attention that certain students may have been
misled regarding the nature and purpose of the protest.

The serious feedback and criticism from the public regarding the organization of the protest and
the level of awareness demonstrated by some participants. The questions raised by the
journalist on the protest site got laughable responses. The video of the protest went viral and
got nothing but comedy.

Students were also asked to read the slogans which read “urban naxal” as “urban maxwell”.
Some admitted it to be about the Congress manifesto. It also touched on issues like tax PM
Narendra Modi stance on ‘mangalsutra' and wealth redistribution, and women empowerment.

The video that went viral showed that the students had a lack of knowledge about the political
issues and a lack of knowledge that led them unanswerable to the questions. The video and
students on camera also triggered a meme fest. This also means that the students of such a
popular and renowned university are unaware of the trending news and the issues going on in
the country which is hazardous for the country’s future as the youth is now a puppet, the one
who works in the given direction without any question or knowledge.
