Valuemart Retail signs up Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador
Sachin Tendulkar will now be endorsing Valuemart, Bangalore based retail chain in a contract which was signed for a three year period. 
Valuemart has been offering smartcards and web based solutions apart from offering services directly to its customers. The company has been offering web based solutions for retail and as well as financial service sector companies. In the words of Founder Director, C.K. Vasudevan, Valuemart Retail, “We believe we share the same values as Sachin and commit ourselves to deliver the same standards of quality and excellence in our new product initiative.”
Turtle to launch Khadi garments in premium casual wear segment
Feb 26, 2013: Turtle is all set to jump into the foray of Khadi garments and will be launching Khadi garments in the premium casual
wear segment. Turtle which has it’s headquarter in Kolkata will be launching these garments in the first week of March and has
procured nearly 20,000 metres of khadi fabric and entered into a contract with nearly 250 weavers. The company expects to produce nearly 12,000 pieces of khadi garments with this fabric. Turtle will be launching the new khadi garments under the brand name ‘Ecological Weave’ and this will available in various stores starting March this year.
