May 26, 2014: Mobile handset manufacturer Lava today announced the launch of Iris X1 smartphone under Iris X series with the latest Android KitKat OS. The latest smartphone from Lava was launched at an aggressive price of Rs.7,999 and with this Lava Irix X1 became one of the few devices with the latest Android Operating System. Customers who buy Iris X1 would be able to experience better touch responsiveness and faster multi tasking through the KitKat platform.
In a statement by Hari Om Rai, Chairman and MD, Lava International, he said “It is for the consumers who not only want a high performance device but also a beautiful design. We are confident that the latest hardware and software features coupled with its great design will surely deliver a rich experience to the consumers.”
Apart from the Android KitKat OS, Lava Iris X1 boasts of hosts of other features including:
- 4.5 inch screen
- Dual SIM with 3 G connectivity
- 8 mega pixel camera
- 4 GB internal memory expandable upto 32G via micro SD card and
- 1800 mAh battery
This Iris series smartphones from Lava will be available first exclusively on Amazonl.in and later it would be made available through different stores.
