Instant, on-the-spot legal assistance for traffic challans, accidents, and more from LOTS24x7 by Lawyered, the Legal App for Private Vehicle Owners

October 2024: Lawyered, India’s only on-road legal assistance platform has recently announced the launch of its flagship product – LOTS (Lawyer On-The-Spot) for Private Vehicles. With this app, the platform offers significant value by addressing their unique on-road legal needs and offering instant legal help to private vehicle owners.

Presently, many individuals face challenges regarding on-road legal incidents like challans, theft, accidents etc.  Every day, around 32,000 challans in Bangalore, 20,000 in Delhi and 15,000 in Gurugram are issued against private vehicles, while a vehicle is stolen every 12 minutes in the national capital. In tandem, customers face extreme difficulty in resolving challans, particularly due to a lack of knowledge about the legal procedures involved including the challenges of accessing legal assistance in India which creates a significant gap in getting on-road legal support. Lawyered identified & resolved this massive gap in the logistics segment first by providing on-road legal assistance and challan resolution support to truck drivers and transporters. As an extension of this product, the platform has now tailored the end-to-end solution, specifically for private vehicle owners.

Delighted about entering the new segment, Founder of Lawyered, Himanshu Gupta said, “By foraying into the private vehicle space, we aim to bridge a critical gap in on-road legal support for individuals like each one of us. We strive to empower vehicle owners to confidently combat on-road legal challenges. With LOTS, we demonstrate our user-centricity to offer them peace of mind, by providing instant access to legal expertise, right when and where they need it most.”

Commenting about LOTS’s as an on-demand solution for vehicles, Abhishek Gupta, General Secretary of AITWA said “LOTS has been a game-changer for truck drivers and transporters, addressing their on-road challenges effectively. We believe this level of support is equally essential for private vehicle owners, as it not only enhances road safety but also provides much-needed assistance when it’s most required.”

The LOTS24x7 by Lawyered app allows users to easily check, manage, or pay pending challans, report on-road legal incidents, and track the progress of their tickets in real time. The company has already built an expansive network of over 75,000 lawyers on its platform that will allow users to receive expert legal solutions tailored to their specific needs and local regulations on the spot. Apart from this, customers will get an on-the-spot local legal representative pan India, especially in case of dire situations like accidents, theft, vehicle seizure, etc. This comprehensive approach ensures that customers have all the necessary tools at their fingertips to handle their on-road legal needs.

Even prior to the formal launch of the app, Lawyered has already on-boarded more than 40,000 private vehicles through B2B2C partnerships. Lawyered has exclusively partnered with FADA, enabling it to onboard customers through dealerships across India. Every vehicle sold at these dealerships, eventually will include a LOTS membership, driving scalability.

Optimistic about LOTS24x7, Manish Raj Singhania, Chairperson FADA Academy and Ex-President said, “Having personally seen LOTS in action, I can confidently say it provides on-the-spot legal solution customers have always needed. Now, with its direct reach to private vehicle owners, LOTS will solve their on-road challenges with the same effectiveness and reliability.”

To further strengthen the scalability of LOTS24x7, Lawyered plans to explore several partnerships with insurance companies and financial institutions to offer bundled on-road legal support alongside vehicle insurance policies; fleet management companies to provide tailored on-road legal support for their vehicles; and tech platforms focused on automotive solutions which will allow to integrate LOTS into their ecosystems, delivering comprehensive vehicle management solutions to users.

The app will be available for PAN India users with a major focus on metropolitan cities such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Chennai and Kolkata, where the demand for on-road legal support is high due to the volume of vehicles and traffic incidents. The expansion will be followed by Tier 1 and Tier 2 Cities, Urban and Semi-Urban Areas and Regional Markets.

The app (LOTS24x7 by Lawyered) is available for users on both the Play Store and iOS App Store, with a complimentary three-month access period followed by a nominal subscription fee.
