Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Lenovo is rolling out today a new suite of back-to-work solutions focused on Internet of Things capabilities to help businesses reopen offices and operations. And the effort-coordinating group is based in the Triangle where Lenovo operates one of its two headquarters, as well as its business server group.

IoT solutions have promised great results for the past decade but have not delivered,” said John Gordon, President of Commercial Internet of Things at Lenovo. “Our main goal is to make a change in the technical challenges of the Internet of Things systems so that it will help to make them work on a scale basis.

On industry-first IoT management software and a proven partner ecosystem, we build on our global strength in services and supply chain and layer to help customers finally get the value they’ve always wanted from IoT, quickly and without any trouble.”

The Back to Work Solutions package is called ThinkIoT.

Offering includes the ability to:

  1. Control who gets into the location
  2. Manage behaviours within the space; and
