On Monday, at the CES 2015 tech show, leading PC maker Lenovo took the wraps off a slew of devices. Especially, the vendor launched a swarm of Windows based laptops in the Yoga, ThinkPad and Flex lineups with the hinge design that lets the screen to be folded back against the rear of the keyboard and convert them as a tablet.

One of the devices that went official at the tech show includes the Yoga 3 that comes with a slimmer design and incorporates newer chips. The Yoga 3 has been launched in two options – a 11 inch model with Intel Core M chipset and a 14 inch variant with the fifth generation Intel processor and 16:9 IPS display. Both models of the Yoga 3 arrive with integrated graphics, but discrete NVIDIA graphics is available as an upgrade option for the 14 inch device.

Talking of the ThinkPad Yoga, the ultrabook is a flat back and impressively specced device arriving in 12 inch, 14 inch and 15 inch models. All the variants use fifth generation Intel processors and feature bright touch screen displays. There is an option to choose discrete NVIDIA graphics only in the 14 inch and 15 inch models and these support FHD 1080p content by default, while the 12 inch model has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.

When it comes to the entry level Flex PC, the Flex 3 comes in three sizes such as 11 inch, 14 inch and 15 inch models. While the 11 inch Flex 3 comes with Pentium processor, the larger models incorporate fifth generation Intel Core chipsets. The second generation Flex models are tagged as dual mode, multi-use notebooks and they feature non-detachable keyboards. There is a 360 degree hinge instead of the 300 degree hinge used in the previous models of Flex. This hints that users can rotate the screen to a full circle to conceal the keyboards and use the notebook as a tablet.

When it comes to pricing and availability, the Lenovo Yoga 11 inch and 14 inch models will be priced at $800 and $980 respectively and they will debut from March. The ThinkPad Yoga models are priced in the range between $1,000 and $1,200 and they will hit the retail shelves sometime in February. Last on the list is the Flex that is priced between $400 and $580 and is slated to arrive in May.
