Lionsgate Play is ready to present its thrilling content to its viewers with its assortment of lineups this new year January 2022.
The lineup includes hit films and critically acclaimed series like Apex, The Goes Wrong Show, BMF, Hope, Protege, Josie Power Season (1-6), Breathe, Before We Go, The Escort to name a few.
January 2022 highlights:
Black Mafia Family
A crime drama series about the story of two brothers brought up in the streets of southwest Detroit. BMF has its inspiration from the exploits of the Black Mafia Family, a drug and money laundering organization, and the series is set in the late 1980s.
It is an engaging watch and currently has a rating of 7.2 on IMDB. BMF has in its lead roles Russell Hornsby, Demetrius Flenory Jr, and Michole Briana White. The series was created by Randy Huggins

The Escort
The Escort is a romantic drama directed by Will Slocombe. The film follows a journalist who is a sex addict, and Natalie, an escort with a Stanford education. They meet by chance and fall in love. In the lead roles are Lyndsy Fonseca and Michael Doneger.

The film follows an ex-cop James Malone who is in prison for a crime he did not commit. James is offered freedom if he is willing to participate in a deadly game called Apex. The film is written by Corey William Large and John Drake and is helmed by Edward John Drake. In the lead roles are Bruce Willis and Neal McDonough.

The Goes Wrong Show – Season 2
A comedy series where each episode centers around the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society and how they conduct their plays before a live studio audience. In its lead roles are Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields, and Henry Lewis.
The series is directed by Martin Dennis and currently has an IMDB rating of 8.5. The series is now back for a second season based on The Play That Goes Wrong by the award-winning Mischief Theatre brand.

Josie
A thriller drama film was written by Anthony Ragnone, and helmed by Eric England. Josie follows Hank, a recluse, who meets a mysterious student who has been transferred from the town of Baymont. The film stars Sophie Turner in the titular role and is joined by Micah Fitzgerald, Daeg Faerch, Jack Kilmer, Lombardo Boyar, Kurt Fuller, and Robin Bartlett in the supporting roles.
