The Iconic tagline “Because You’re worth it” by L’Oreal Paris has completed 5o years of its existence. Yeah, this tagline makes you feel comfortable with what you are rather than seeing your doubts.
L’oreal speaks about feminism and women’s empowerment through this slogan.
Confident Joane Dusseau is seen, talking about her preference as well as her review of hair colour by L’Oréal Paris. At the end of the commercial she said “Because I’m worth it” and boom, it becomes the iconic tagline of the brand.
L’Oréal changed the tagline from ‘Because I am worth it’s to ‘You are worth it’.
The brand has always included social issues suffered by women regarding their bodies, skin tones and shapes and removed their self dought.
Campaigns launched by L’oreal
Courtney Cox gives a strong message “Women who want more from life, Women who want more colour in their life”
Another powerful campaign by the brand shows not to humiliate yourself with self dought and see the magic of your worth having all types of people: pregnant women, older women, women with hijab, men and women with every size and skin tone truly showing diversity in its true sense. L’oreal always appreciated diversity.
The brand not just says but they do through their campaigns.
The brand also teamed up with NGO Breakthrough and launched a training program ‘Stand up against Street Harassment’ program. This was launched in India in 2020.
The program received a good response globally and especially in India.
L’oreal not only includes Hollywood celebrities but also includes Bollywood actresses Aishwarya rai, Sonam Kapoor, and Katrina Kaif by showing three different shampoos for three different types of hair type.
I especially enjoyed the advertisement by Aishwarya rai she looks bold, beautiful, and confident as the L’oreal campaign deserves such an inspiring woman for their campaign. The motive of the campaign is to show women empowerment.
I also wanted to see Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in L’oreal campaigns they both are so inspiring and perfect examples of women’s empowerment.
As a woman, I always appreciate L’oreal campaigns because it was so inspiring for women to grow and accept the way they are why? I think we all know this through the campaign because ‘we all are worth it’.
