The pioneer in hair color, L’Oréal Professionnel Paris introduced a new digital show RUN LE HAIR SHOW. The RUN LE HAIR SHOW is a part talk show, part web series that connects pro hairdressers with hair lovers and celebrates the role and cultural impacts of hair pros all across the globe.

L’Oréal Professionnel has always strived to provide the most innovative hair products to hairdressers that have been tested and approved by some of the greatest hairdressers in the field. They are also the creators of some of the greatest and biggest fashion shows and are known for working hand-in-hand with some of the most talented hairdressers and salons. L’Oréal Professionnel has a dedicated program that is committed to helping hairdressers to fight against Musculo Skeletal disorders.

The present situation with the pandemic and the lockdown has reduced the importance of hairdressers. The RUN LE HAIR SHOW aims to make a far-reaching impact that hopes to inspire and touch the global hair community. The concept of the digital series was first tested with the Pro hair community, where about 7 out of 10 pros expressed their willingness to watch the show, while 8 out of 10 pros wished to star on it. These results showed that valorizing the hairdressing community is highly valued and that it would make a strong impact.

The first episode of the RUN LE HAIR SHOW, ‘La Première’ would be globally aired on YouTube on May 16th, 2020. The first episode will be hosted by Charlie le Mindu and would feature the La Masterclass on the trends of the international pro-community and extreme lightening transformation. Other episodes would also feature themes that would inspire and give the audience an understanding of the RUN LE HAIR SHOW.

All the episodes of the RUN LE HAIR SHOW would feature 7 dynamic segments that highlight the hairdressing industry. The seven dynamics of the show includes La Masterclass, a technical class led by professionals of the industry on lightening, color, cut, and style; Pro secrets features tips and tricks from expert members of the international hair community; Tête-à-tête, a series of intimate interviews with hair experts; and La revue that features skilled trend analysis from street style to the runway.

The show would be hosted by the hair designer, Charli le Mindu; color specialist, Min Kim; and fashion journalist, Peggy Frey, who would act as the golden thread connecting each segment. Each episode of the show will be translated into six languages.
