Mahindra Two Wheelers has partnered with the leading mobile payment platform Paytm to enable the online retailing of Mahindra’s Centuro motorcycles and the Rodeo UZO lineup of scooters.
As a result of this partnership, the potential buyers can purchase these two models launched by Mahindra Two Wheelers on the Paytm e-commerce portal. This was announced by the manufacturer Mahindra Two Wheelers in an official statement. The Mahindra Rodeo UZO and Centuro range of scooters and bikes can be booked via Paytm at the respective ex-showroom prices by the consumers depending on their region.
Regarding this partnership, Mahindra Two Wheelers’ Vice President for Sales and Customer Care, Dharmendra Mishra claimed that Mahindra’s association with the mobile payment platform Paytm is another innovative move for the firm’s commitment to reach the potential customers who seek online shopping of vehicles.
The executive further added that this association with Paytm will enable the manufacturer and its dealers to provide easier and a more convenient way to purchase their two wheelers. It is claimed that the partnership between Mahindra Two Wheelers and Paytm will help in strengthening and widening the customer base as it will reach out to the wide Internet audience and smartphone users.
Regarding the same, Paytm’s General Manager, Amit Bagaria claimed that the introduction of Mahindra Two Wheelers as a part of their portfolio will help them in achieving a significant boost to their automotive category.
Mahindra Rodeo UZO was launched in August 2014 and it is equipped with advanced DCDI technology and ATLA system that can render better performance and lower maintenance. Of the lineup, the UZO 125 boasts of the first-in-class external front-fuelling and fully digital dashboard with functions such as speedometer, tachometer, odometer, tripmeter, fuel indicator, clock, high-speed alarm and accelerometer. The two-wheeler features new racing-styled body graphics and colored wheels.
When it comes to the Mahindra Centuro range of bikes, the motorcycles have a slew of patented category innovations such as the Anti-Theft Alarm with Engine Immobilizer and the Find-Me Lamps.
