Manisha Gopinath’s solo exhibition of ceramic work to open on Nov 25 at Gallery Time and Space, Bengaluru

Bengaluru, 18 November 2023: Noted ceramic artist Manisha Gopinath will hold a solo exhibition of her work at Gallery Time and Space, Lavelle Road in Bengaluru from 25th November to 3rd December. Manisha is a reputed ceramic artist with 14 years of experience in clay. Having started her artistic journey in the US, she has exhibited widely there before moving to India.

Having been exposed and trained with some of the best potters in the US, she has created her own unique style of work which has a different twist to how clay is often viewed. Inspired by nature, her work ranges from large pieces of wall art of ceramic and wood, table top pieces, large platters, vases to sculptures. Using driftwood, walnut wood and others, which is then cut by hand and oiled to bring out its natural colour and variation, she uses glazed porcelain and stoneware on it to make these pieces come alive.

Manisha has established Studio 2700 (Insta handle – @manishagopinath), which is a ceramic studio specializing in exclusive handmade artifacts. Established in 2018 at Whitefield, Bangalore, it features the work of Manisha in different spheres. Porcelain and stoneware hand crafted and shaped into leaves, flowers, birds and different aspects of nature juxtaposed with glass and wood is this studio’s speciality. Gallery Time and Space (https://timeandspace.gallery/) is one of the leading Art galleries in Bengaluru, which is famous for showcasing eminent artists’ work to art lovers. Manisha’s solo exhibition titled ‘Glazes of Nature’ will be inaugurated by distinguished artist Bharati Sagar at 11.30 AM on 25 th November.

The exhibition will stay open for art lovers till 3rd December from 11 AM to 7 PM except on Monday.
