Online food ordering and food delivery is the new norm. What’s even better is when a five-star hotel delivers world-class cuisine, with all your favourite signature dishes right at your doorstep. To tingle your taste buds and douse your cravings, Marriott International has taken the big leap and unveiled the ‘Good Food = Good Mood’ digital campaign for Marriott on Wheels.

Marriott International has collaborated with Warp Studios to conceptualize the films for the campaign. The ‘Good Food = Good Mood’ campaign includes a series of 5 films, directed by Shaun Kolah and produced by Toast Events. The films have been shot in four languages- Hindi, English, Bengali and Kannada to cater to a nationwide audience.

Most of the Indian states and cities have gone into some form of lockdown to combat the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. With global travel restrictions in place, inevitably many of the plans and dream trips have to be cancelled. Inspired by this theme, one of the ad films for the campaign features an enthusiastic “Daadi” planning her dream trip to Paris. The “Daadi” munching on delicious macarons adapts to the news of lockdown and decides to enjoy Paris at home by ordering her favourite French delicacies from Marriott International.

With the IPL season going on, the fans for the country’s favourite sport are all geared up to enjoy some live cricket action. This setting serves as the perfect theme for a second film from the Marriott on Wheels ‘Good Food = Good Mood’ digital campaign series. The film shows a husband ordering sushi for his wife from Marriott on Wheels in a desperate attempt to gain her attention while she’s fully engrossed in a nail-biting cricket match.

The 5 lighthearted films are centred around funny and eccentric situations in a family setting. The films help Marriott International connect with customers and their emotions. Marriott on Wheels is a premium food delivery service from Marriott International which was first introduced in 2020. Spanning a network of 76 hotels the food delivery service is available in 26 Indian cities through apps like Zomato and Swiggy. Marriott International promises an authentic dining experience and ensures the safe delivery of a diverse variety of Marriott’s signature dishes.

“With people being encouraged to stay at home, Marriott on Wheels remains a strong medium to ensure our guests do not miss out on their favourite food,” said, Khushnooma Kapadia, Senior Area Director of Marketing- South Asia for Marriott International Inc.
