August 21, 2013: In a bid to boost the sales of its car which otherwise has been staggering, Maruti has launched its new compact car WagonR Stingray. Stingray which happens to be a makeover model of Maruti’s already existing car model WagonR has been launched at an aggressive price of Rs.4.09 lakhs (Ex Showroom Delhi).
WagonR Stingray can easily be identified because of its sporting and jazzy look when compared to WagonR. The other exterior highlights of WagonR Stingray are:
- Large air dam
- Redesigned fog lamp housings
- All new front
- Front with a sleek chrome finished grille
- A projector headlamp
- Gunmetal grey coloured alloys
- Side Skirts
- Roof mounted rear wing
- Chrome back door garnish with Stingray embossed on it
- Rear wiper and Defogger
It’s not only the exteriors which give Stingray a peppy look but also it its interiors. The highlights of the interiors of Maruti WagonR Stingray are:

Stingray which is powered by a 998 cc, 3 cylinder engine returns a fuel efficiency of 20.5 kmpl. It generates a torque of 90Nm@3,500 rpm and comes with an option of driver airbag and ABS.
