Oct 2, 2012: Maruti has announced that consumers can pre-order for their upcoming new Alto model even when the price tag of the model is officially not yet out in the market. This kind of pre-ordering usually happens in gadget markets. As part of this Maruti has already started delivering the model to dealers around 2 weeks before the official launch itself. This is expected to help the company ramp up their sales during the festive period.
