Dec 6, 2012: Come January 2013, people looking to buy car with Maruti badge would have to shell out up to Rs. 20,000 more on account of increase in prices. Increasing currency fluctuation, inconsistent fuel prices and pressure on margins has forced Maruti Suzuki India to increase its prices. The company which has already been facing a lot of problems has recorded a 5.41% fall in its net profit. Maruti recorded an increase of 9.67% in domestic sales and the exports went up by 38.37%.
