Dec 10, 2012: The flagship export model of Maruti Suzuki, the A-Star has got a facelift and Maruti has launched A-Star Aktiv which looks more chic and cool. To catch up with an aging design, Maruti launched A-Star Aktiv with 14 new visible changes both on the inside and outside. Aimed at the young generation A-Star Aktiv has host of new features like new sporty body graphics, spoiler and fog lamp, new seat covers, steering wheel cover and keyless entry with vehicle security alarm sytem.
The new Aktiv is powered by the same 998 CC engine which powers the existing A-Star and has got K10B motor which produces 67PS of power at 6,200 rpm. Maruti will make A-Star Aktiv available at Rs.14,900 more than the price of the existing A-Star. The base model VXi will be available for Rs. 4.22 lakh and VXi AT at Rs. 4.73 lakh ex-showroom price Delhi.
