Microsoft has officially launched its revamped email service Outlook.com and has started switching the Hotmail accounts to Outlook. The upgrade from Hotmail which was launched in 1996 to Outlook will be instant and all the details about email holders of Hotmail, including email address, contact list etc. will be moved seamlessly.
Microsoft which had earlier given a preview of its new look Outlook.com has got nearly 60 million active accounts in six months. The new e-mail service allows the users to connect to social networking sites like Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter and has got some incredible features like users can send hundreds of photos and videos in a single message.
