Microsoft Surface Laptop Go Launched in India

From Friday, January 22, the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go available for purchase in India. In October last year, the inexpensive Surface Laptop Go was released as Microsoft ambitiously went to the low-end market with its Surface Line. ”With Surface Laptop Go, we add a smaller, more affordable design to the features most liked by our Surface Laptop customers,” said Microsoft at the time of launch. Surface Laptop Go is what Microsoft needs to use to battle in India against Asus, Acer, HP, Dell, and Lenovo.

The Surface Laptop Go is our lightest and cheapest Surface laptop, offers a perfect combination of performance, battery life and configuration,” said Rajiv Sodhi, Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft India.

Specifications of Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go carries up to 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of eMMC and SSD storage for the 10th generation Intel Core i5-1035G1 quad-core processors. With a 1024×1536-pixels resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio, the Surface Laptop Go has a 12.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen display. Intel UHD Graphics are inside.

Windows 10 Home is running in S mode on the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go. The Surface Laptop Go’s design is identical to that of the Surface Laptop 3, but the footprint is smaller. The Surface Laptop Go also has a Windows Hello-assisted fingerprint reader with One-Touch sign-in, but this feature is not available on the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage versions. The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go has a USB-C port, a USB-A port, one Surface Connect port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for networking. On the laptop, there is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.1 also available. The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go has a 720p webcam with HD resolution for video calls. The laptop also has dual Studio far-field microphones and Dolby Audio tuned omnisonic speakers are accessible for audio output. The laptop comes with an ambient light sensor to attain auto-brightness. There is a 39W battery inside the laptop that lasts about 13 hours, and it weighs 1.1kg.
