A couple of months back, Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 4. Now, this device has arrived in the Indian market along with the Surface Pro 3. The tablet is aimed to replace the laptops, but it is priced expensively at Rs 89,990 for the base model and Rs 1,44,990 for the top model. Moreover, the Smart Keyboard is priced at Rs 12,490 that is to be purchased separately. This pricing seems to be very expensive in the price conscious Indian market.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a tablet that is premium with a compact design. It features a magnesium alloy body and comes in a silver color option that adds to its looks. The bezels around the display are quite thin and it gives a high screen to body ratio. The tablet weighs below 800 grams that is pretty lightweight to carry around. The device is thin as well making it convenient to use.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a display panel that is bright enough with decent viewing angles. However, the colors seem to be slightly oversaturated. The tablet runs the Windows 10 Pro OS and has three processor options, and these are Intel Gen 6 Skylake Core m3, Core i5 and Core i7. The RAM options include 4 GB and 8 GB, and the storage options are 128 GB and 256 GB.

When it comes to connectivity, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features one USB 3.0 port and lacks a HDMI port. As there is no HDMI port, you need to purchase the Mini DisplayPort to HD AV adapter. There is a micro SD card reader onboard. The Smart Keyboard is thin and lightweight. It can be connected with the tablet using a magnetic dock for easy attachment and removal. The keyboard has a chiclet key layout, and it is also backlit.
